Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace review Rate it

Consistently ranked by historians as one of the worst American presidents of the 20th century, Tricky Dick is remembered chiefly for two ignominious events: his defeat at the hands of John F Kennedy in 1960, and the Watergate scandal that led to him becoming the only American president to resign his post. Both events are discussed in this museum, housed on the site where Nixon was born in 1913; other interesting exhibits include a rare 1823 facsimile of the Declaration of Independence, and a gallery devoted to America's space programme. Dick and wife Pat are enjoying their afterlives in the gardens.
