By day a revered guitar shop, McCabe's doubles as an intimate performance space. The roster has included rootsy singers such as Odetta and Chris Hillman, but also indie perennials such as Kristin Hersh and Peter Case, and more unexpected acts including Nels Cline and Eugene Chadbourne. Gigs are usually held on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

I had front row seats to Al Stewart and " The year of the Cat" a few years ago. I enjoyed Al, he was still good!
