This baroque spot trades on the legend of its past as (it says) the oldest bar and brothel in Downtown LA. The ladies of the night have long since departed but the vibe lives on, with a scarlet interior and dressed-to-impress bartenders. Along with dance nights such as the '60s-themed Satisfaction Club, local underground acts including Very Be Careful and Xu Xu Fang play here semi-regularly.
