Berkeley-founded and now-NYC-based indie pop act We Are Scientists will make an LA stop at the El Rey. Expect to hear tunes from the band's just-released album Helter Seltzer—which treads the same catchy new wave grooves as old hits like "Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt"—when the peppy, hooky, booty-shaking dance-rock crew hits the stage.
