Whether you end up loving it or hating it, Axe (pronounced 'ah-shay') is a fascinating experience - hyper-healthy food served in an elegant minimalist setting. The flavours are rich and satisfying, and brunch is among the best you'll find anywhere in Los Angeles, but the service can be brusque and the dining room is often a little noisy.
