Opened in 2007 by a crack team comprising no fewer than three star names: chef Mario Batali, La Brea Bakery founder Nancy Silverton and wine expert Joseph Bastianich. Served tapasstyle, the Italian food is exquisite: try the selection of mozzarellas paired with all manner of meats, vegetables and herbs, a one-of-a-kind treat; or the pasta tasting menu, seven courses served family-style for $69.
