This loud but friendly diner/restaurant is relatively affordable and fairly speedy, making it a good option if you're heading on to a concert at the nearby Wiltern. The cooking is simple and exuberant: pasta with Moroccan-style beef and vegetables is hearty and tasty, as is the Singapore shrimp fried rice. Your enjoyment of the evening may be aided by the lethal cocktails served at the bar.
