There's no lock on the door, nor does there need to be: now owned by former mayor Richard Riordan, this greasy spoon has been open 24-7 since 1934, with only the briefest of breaks to rework the kitchen into modern health standards. Expect American diner favourites in gargantuan portions; nothing is exceptional, but everything is good.
