Admiral Risty

A traditional, upscale, American restaurant, Admiral Risty has been serving up the same, slightly overpriced, standard seafood fare for almost 50 years. Not much has changed in terms of the décor or menu—the usual steak and fish selections, creamy Clam Chowder, shrimp cocktail—so it may be time for an upgrade. But they are just appeasing their signature older crowd (you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, right?). While there may not be much inventive cooking going on here, you’re basically paying for the view—a breathtaking panoramic Pacific ocean view off the PV peninsula. But completely worth it.
