When the Los Angeles Clippers made it into the NBA play-offs in 2005-06, just the third time in 30 years that the team ended the regular season with a winning record, many pundits heralded the team's turnaround and predicted good times ahead. No such luck. If the following year was a disappointment, then the 2007-08 season was a catastrophe. The team won 23 games while losing 59, and the only cause for optimism is the return after injury of point guard Shaun Livingston. Indeed, perhaps the most attractive thing about the Clippers is that it's generally easier to score tickets for a game than it is for the Lakers.
