The 3,300-seat home of the Academy Awards is a slick building that's under-used for the other 11 months of the year. That'll change in 2010, when the theatre is due to start hosting a year-round Cirque du Soleil show. In the meantime, it's open for pricey half-hour tours. Call ahead or check online before making the trip: on performance days, the theatre may not run its normal tour schedule.
