March 2024: This month, we’ve added a day with free museum entry across SoCal, a food fest celebrating women-owned restaurants, some of the first music fests of the season and the return of First Fridays at the Natural History Museum. It’s also time to keep your eyes peeled for wildflowers and cherry blossoms; expect some more updates on both of those fronts mid-month. If you hurry, you might still catch a glimpse of Space Shuttle Endeavour in its ready-to-launch position from elsewhere in Exposition Park—but since it’s due to be covered in scaffolding soon, we’ve otherwise removed that from our list. We’ve also temporarily removed Rosie’s Dog Beach due to the canine respiratory illness currently circulating in the area, as well as Wayfarer’s Chapel, which has shuttered for now due to land movement in the area.
