[title]Fall is creeping around the corner, bringing a surge of new fall brews and beer events. To kick off the changing season, on Saturday Drink:Eat:Play is throwing their annual Los Angeles Beer Fest, a four-hour shindig featuring over 200 breweries, including local favorites like Golden Road, Fireman's Brew, Strand Brewing Co., Enegren Brewing Co. and more. In addition to drinking your weight in beer, there will be a DJ, live music and plenty of food trucks (though you'll have to buy food separately). Tickets, which can be purchased here for $40, are still available—and if you don't think four hours of beer drinking is enough (who are you?), we recommend splurging on a $50 VIP ticket, which gets you an extra hour of imbibing on specialty beers.
The Los Angeles Beer Fest will take place this Saturday, September 26, from noon to 4pm at LA Center Studios (1201 West 5th Street). A percentage of proceeds will go toward Noah's Bark Inc. which rescues dogs from shelters and finds them permanent homes. Beer for a cause—kind of makes you feel all tingly inside, doesn't it?
