Time Out says

LACMA celebrates Earth Day with a mash-up of poetry readings, tours and artist-led workshops for the whole family at this all-day event. Scribes can join poet Brendan Constantine to find the perfect words to describe nature at a poetry workshop, The Deep Field. Outdoor lovers can tour Hancock Park with Matt Ritter (botany professor and director of Cal Poly Plant Conservatory) as he shares stories about the unique trees at LACMA. Throughout the day, families can join in sketch-nature workshops or jam out with instruments made of recycled materials. Each event presents LACMA's community-strengthening view on environmentalism—that without Earth, art is just "eh."
