The James Joyce review

Previously known as Kitty O'Shea's, this is the Madrid outpost of what is now a global chain of Oirish theme pubs. With both Guinness and Murphy's on tap, pub grub, chatty staff and plenty of rugby and Premier League matches showing on two big screens and three TVs, it's all much as you'd expect. Of more interest, perhaps, is that the pub sits on the site of the historic Café Lion, a haunt of post-Civil War literati.
