Delfos is here to prove that Greek food is not all kebabs and salads. In taverna-style surroundings, with just-on-the-right-side-of-tack Greek details - statues and strings of blue-and-white flags - friendly waiters serve up an unexpected variety of dishes. A good start is the pikilia megali, a platter of garlicky Greek olives, rich fried feta cheese, refreshing tsatsiki, lemony taramasalata, stuffed vine leaves and more. The moussaka and lamb with nut and honey are also scrumptious. If you dare, try the retsina.
