This garden atrium, dripping in ivy and gaudy chandeliers, is a festive place to stick your fork in one of 28 varieties of paella. But it's the porrón - a long-spouted jug from which you pour a stream of wine down your throat - that makes this really fun: everyone must try their turn at this subtle art. The Champagneria Gala has ever so slightly become a victim of its own success, however, and the quality of the food has diminished in recent years as the number of tourists has grown - there have been numerous tales of over-salty paella and under-friendly service.
