The French giant offers a huge range of CDs, DVDs, videos and books plus computer hardware and software, all at competitive prices and under one roof. Among the CDs there are good world music and flamenco sections, and the helpful staff can look up titles on the database. There is a reasonable English-language book section, with recent paperbacks as well as classics. On the second floor is a room to sit and read while listening to music. Downstairs there's a ticket booking service, a café and paper shop with a good range of foreign press and magazines, and the FNAC Forum, which hosts readings and film and record launches.
