El Rastro review

The city's most famous market dates back nearly five centuries. Stalls set up from 7am, with the hardcore bargain-hunters arriving soon afterwards. In truth, there are few real deals to be had these days, but in among the tat are Moroccan stalls selling lovely leather bags (though be sure to haggle hard), and antiques stalls and shops that are worth a trawl. In any case, it's still a quintessential stop on the tourist shopping map, but do keep an eye on your bag.
