The future plans for the Cornerhouse building on Oxford Street have been unveiled.

The venue is to close its doors next month and Manchester Metropolitan University are to take over the lease of the site from the end of April.

It follows the relocation of the Cornerhouse to become part of HOME, the city’s new centre for art, theatre and film, which opens in May.

MMU will use the building as additional teaching space for their Oxford Road campus, with more details of their plans to be announced next week.

Take a look at HOME’s opening season programme or find out how to share your memories of the Cornerhouse on their online Scribbler.
