Tickets still available for The Smiths and Morrissey fan convention

So we’re guessing many of you were a bit peeved to hear that The Smiths and Morrissey fan convention sold out? Well your luck is in my friend.

Everyone went a bit crazy when they found out about the fan convention taking place at The Kings Arms pub in Salford, and despite the event only taking place next April the tickets sold out in a matter of hours. But we’ve had a little chat with our mates at the pub and more tickets are going on sale in March 2015 (keep it on the down low though, this is top secret stuff).

Incase you don’t know the details yet, it will be an all day celebration of the group and frontman Morrissey in a pub not far from Salford Lads’ Club where the hugely famous photo from the inside of the 1986 album was taken.

The tickets price is a reasonable 30 quid which includes vegetarian and vegan food, vegan beer (which apparently exists), a tribute band, and the world premiere of ‘Mr Smith’ a play based on a Morrissey superfan.
