Cinema classics arrive at Manchester235

A classic films series begins with the Pulp Fiction experience, with dinner, milkshakes, champagne and the film all included

If during a visit to Manchester235 you got bored of eating, drinking, dancing or gambling your money away then you might like to know that they are currently running a selection of classic films throughout the year. Thursday January 24 sees the venue’s 235Live area screening Quentin Tarantino’s classic 'Pulp Fiction'. Whilst the film itself never seems to be more than two days from being on Film4, the attraction of this event lies in the attention to detail, which at a not-inconsiderable £30 per person should be good. For your money not only do you get a champagne reception but you also get dinner, which will include the chance to sample the infamous $5 Jack Rabbit Slim's milkshake, so at long last you get to know what makes it such a pretty blinking good milkshake. No word yet on whether foot rubs, or mysterious golden lights in briefcases will also be on offer. Continuing the series, March 27 sees a screening of 'Casino Royale'.
