The northern outpost of the long-running London laugh-bastion, this venue is at the heart of’s current comedy renaissance, with big names from the stand-up circuit regularly dropping by to play its theatre-style auditorium. Launched in 2000, and propping up one end of the bustling Deansgate Locks cluster, it’s a good option for drinks, dinner and a (non-smoking) show.
