The Martin Harris Centre quietly hosts some of the city’s best music, theatre and literary events. Its concert hall is home to the the Quatuor Daniels string quartet (which often gives free lunchtime concerts), while the John Thaw Studio Theatre puts on critically acclaimed theatre and film and holds a reading series that has in the past featured such literary luminaries as Will Self, John Banville and Sarah Waters.
