Owned and run by Canal Street stalwarts Mike ‘Polly’ Pollard and Iain Scott, Taurus owes its success to the twin tenets of excellent service and a sense of mischievousness. The decor is homely rather than super stylish, but who cares when the food, cocktails and company are this good? A night out here is always bags of fun.
