Barburrito

1 Piccadilly Gardens

It seems amazing that Barburrito, ‘the UK’s first burrito bar’, opened so recently (in 2006). The compile-your-own burrito format has caught on so quickly that the only downside is the queue the place can generate. We’re reliably informed that the menu goes beyond the slow-braised pork flavoured with bay leaves and orange (£3.10 / £4.50), but we haven’t got past it yet.

I used to go here with various friends quite regularly until recently. Some sort of new management has led to the manager at piccadilly yelling at staff if they give the customers too much food to now actually weighing each burrito before handing them out... The management needs to stop this practice - Barburritos used to be filling but now it's just dissapointing. Posted on Nov 06 2009 13:17

This place is amazing. Their new restaurant in Trafford Centre is so cool. The food is brilliant, fresh, cheap and tasty. I was amazed that there were not more people eating at Barburrito in the trafford centre, especillay when Subway was hammered. Barburroto rocks! Posted on Jan 24 2008 12:04

Just found this place and totally agree... it is brilliant! A great and cheap alternative to boring lunches. Well worth a visit if you are in the Piccadilly area (oh, and haven't they just opened at the Trafford Centre). James Posted on Nov 30 2007 11:19
