EastZEast

Ibis Hotel, Princess Street

Although you might be tempted by the curry mile’s bright lights, be warned: it’s rare to find good food among the gaudiness. The Punjabi specialist EastZEast is, however, an altogether classier proposition. The family behind this hotel-restaurant previously worked in Bradford for over 50 years, and all of this experience shows in the superb service and delicious karahi dishes.

I dined or did not get the chance to dine after two hours waiting for our table! The new restaurant off deansgate looks nice with a big bar but they need it as they over book. A table of 30 booked at 9pm were not sat down at 11:30 so our table for 9:30 had no chance. I have never encounted such bad customer service, as by 11:30 we were told it would be another 25 minutes. Probably the worst restaurant I have ever visited! Posted on Jan 22 2008 23:19
