As camp as Christmas, this show-bar offers a raucous mix of drag acts, karaoke, singalongs and unreconstructed Canal Street frolicking. The new management seem to be adding fresh excitement to the familiar charms, if their recently launched Tuesday night porn parties – where customers are invited to douse themselves in oil and wrestle – are anything to go by. The spot sometimes has an air of being more of a tourist destination than a venue proper, yet it still manages to retain its place at the heart of the Village scene.
