If you tell your bank manager that you’re starting a business and that the unique selling point of said business is soup, then they’ll probably tell you that the soup had better be good. Fortunately for Shlurp, their soups are very, very good indeed. The Asian chicken is great for warming you up on a raw, wet day, and the smoked haddock and corn chowder soup has won an award from the Guild of Fine Food Retailers in 2006. Everything is prepared in-house using fresh ingredients, including the dressings and meats. You can also get early morning bagels and coffee.
