Despite its subterranean location, Tampopo has a very light and airy feel and the shared long benches and tables give the restaurant a real buzz when the place is full. Rather than restricting, Tampopo’s menu incorporates tastes from Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia and other Eastern destinations to deliver a Most Wanted of the region’s cooking. The restaurant is especially recommended for the tasty noodle dishes.
