With the closure of Deansgate’s Daisy & Tom in January 2007, mums and dads should turn to its (less chi-chi) sister company the Early Learning Centre to stock up on children’s paraphernalia. With hundreds of games and puzzles, outdoor toys (trampolines, playhouses, swings), soft-fabric baby toys, dolls, baby walkers, musical toys, art materials, books and more, it would be hard not to find something here to please the little ’uns – in particular those aged eight and under.
