Tatton Park
Knutsford Cheshire
Get lost in the Cheshire countryside in this 1,000-acre park with free-roaming deer, lakes and a farm. A walled garden boasts fruit trees, tomato and fig houses; sample some fresh produce and own-baked cakes in the on-site restaurant and shop. The 200-year-old Mansion features unchanged state rooms, but the real attractions are outside – the gardens include a 1850s fernery and beech maze, and Japanese landscaping.
