Chinese Arts Centre
Market Buildings, Thomas Street
Established in 1986, this specially designed new building has been open since 2003, and now acts as a national centre for the promotion of Chinese art. A changing programme of exhibitions and events celebrates a variety of international Chinese artists, including an artist-in-residence. There’s also an interesting shop and specialist tea room.
