The fact that this eccentric restaurant will seemingly barbecue anything they can get their hands on (venison, grouse and quail have all featured on their menu) should be regarded as more than just a mere novelty act. Hunter’s curries are all the more interesting for using innovative flavours, and who wouldn’t take dark, peppery pheasant over boring old chicken? An odd but enjoyable late-night option.
