This aptly-named bar is decked out with cord-covered seating, and the intimate booths give the small but perfectly formed space a homely feel. It can feel terrifyingly cramped at weekends, however, but it’s worth braving the crowds for the decent beers and even better DJs who hold court in the basement. In the daytime, stop in for a pickled egg or gourmet pie served with mash and peas.
