This long-established creative hub continues to draw the best local talent. Each floor is lined with small shops and studios, and many traders design on site and sell their work fresh from the drawing board, sewing machine or workbench. Products include one-off bags, intricate jewellery, large-scale photographic prints, paintings, sculpture and leather wares. There’s also a pleasant café, and changing exhibitions throughout the year. And if you’re after something really special, most of the artisans will work to commission.
