A converted Victorian family home in the heart of Bohemian Chorlton, the Abbey exemplifies the perfect English B&B. Pristinely kept and expertly run, it's decorated in a classical but unfussy way. Bedrooms are of a good size and all are en suite.
One pleasant innovation here is that, rather than breakfasting in a morning room, guests are invited to take a tray from a continental buffet to the comfort of their own rooms, all of which are furnished with generously sized dining tables.
