Tatton Park

Tatton Park review Rate it

Get lost in the Cheshire countryside in this 1,000-acre park with free-roaming deer, lakes and a farm. A walled garden has fruit trees and fig houses; sample some of this fresh produce in the on-site restaurant.

The 200-year-old Mansion features unchanged state rooms, but the real attractions are outside - the gardens include an 1850s fernery and Japanese landscaping. Keep an eye out for garden-based artwork in 2012 when the Tatton Park Biennial returns.
