Time Out says

A relaxed Baltic grill bar tucked down a side street off the busy Albert Square tourist path. Enter a cosy, low lit, wooden interior, decorated with homely features from the Baltics, Russia and Poland. At night, the handmade wooden bar lights up with specialist vodkas from Russia and Poland (Klosowka, Stumbras and of particular note Debowa, which is honey to the lips). Each bottle houses a sliver of oak, corn or grass to highlight the signature taste.

All of the meats, cheese and seasonal vegetables are sourced direct from the Baltic states and this is evident in the unique taste of the menu.

Baltic Cellar serves a variety of speciality dishes from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Russia, as well as traditional Russian soups. Favourites include Borsch, Goulash, Bigos, Uha (fish soup) and Shashlik. Baltic Cellar is a specialist grill bar, housing an authentic Shashlik charcoal grill. This is where the marinated meat or fish are cooked from fresh for 30 minutes for true chargrill succulent flavour.

All the condiments, jams and sauces are made from scratch in the kitchen and the cakes are homemade with a Baltic twist.
