The first thing you should know about Dimitri is that he’s a real person. He was inspired to open his restaurant after an uncle took him to his first Greek meze bar as a child. His fondness for a glass of wine and food of all kinds carries on to this day, making Dimitri's approach to food, as they say, 'more country kitchen than haute cuisine.' Like the food, this taverna-style restaurant hasn't changed much in over 20 years, and can be relied upon for a lively, tasty, good value experience. It's a popular favourite amongst Mancunians, with a perfect location on Deansgate, and there's a wonderful outdoor area where you can soak up the atmosphere.
