Lass O'Gowrie review Rate it

The Lass is a Manchester institution; since being taken over in 2005, its stated aim has been to create the perfect village inn. The simple food ably assists that aim with brilliant own-made pies and artisan-made sausages. There are eight ales on tap, including three guest beers, which sometimes make an appearance on the food menu, too, as in the steak and Black Sheep Ale pie.

This place is a dive bar. It might be a proper dive bar, but this description of it is absurd. "Perfect village inn" forsooth.
