Beloved of Chorlton natives, the recently overhauled Horse & Jockey is a pub with great food, genuine heart and a mind-blowing rotation of guest cask ales; in the space of just six weeks it racked up over 50 different brews. If you'd rather not indulge in an alcoholic beverage, though, it also has a coffee machine the size of the Death Star.
