Out on Heaton Moor is one of the most talked-about restaurants in south Manchester. It's from the team behind Sam's Chop House, so you can expect the same great quality, albeit with significantly subtler flavours - lobster, mussel and crab risotto is one of the menu's many delights.

Was at the table for over 1hr 20 min without getting main course. When we complained they tried to argue and said we had only waited 23 min, not remembering the initial wait for our table as we had arrived early. We sat down and ordered just before 9. It was nearer 10.30 when we asked to cancel our mains.
No apology
No remorse
We paid for our drinks and I cancelled my work outing there and allowed a fellow diner to borrow my mobile to write her disappointment on the review site I had just used.
