Ignore the fact that this restaurant is stuffed into a hotel basement. Under the leadership of executive chef Ian Matfin and double Michelin star holder Michael Caines, it is arguably one of Manchester's best eateries. The tasting menu - starring locally sourced truffles and saddle of venison - with matching wine list (not to mention the champagne bar) are among the not-to-be-missed fine dining features on offer here.
