If a giant piñata were to explode in Manchester, the results might resemble Oklahoma. Defying categorisation, this airy, wooden-floored shop-cum-café stocks the best selection of retro and quirky cards in town, alongside bizarre and amusing cheap gifts, imported and designer homewares and a healthy dose of kitsch.
If you're after Virgin Mary charm bracelets, or magic trees, you're in the right place. If you'd rather buy a subtitled Korean DVD and eat vegetarian chilli washed down with a banana smoothie, you're also catered for. Anyone who dares to leave this place disappointed is a joyless soul indeed.

Totally agreed. Great Cafe and Gift Shop. Has been a firm fave of mine since I moved here six years ago and continues to provide a colourful and creative oasis from the mundaness of everyday life. Great shakes too.
