Enjoying the timeless publicity of a mention in an Oasis song (Mr Sifter in 'Shakermaker'), this small second-hand record shop emits a high-pitched whistling noise that only obsessive collectors - generally young men in studenty jackets - are able to hear.
Not that 'normal' people won't find anything great - Sifters has everything from Loretta Lynn to Les Negresses Verts - it's just that they'll need sharp elbows to snatch up that rare Nirvana import.
