It’s big, it’s bouncy, it’s blown up. The world’s largest inflatable obstacle course – the Monster – is coming to Melbourne Showgrounds in January. Remember the cute little bouncy castles of your youth? Great, now forget them because the Monster eats those for breakfast. At over 270 metres long this inflatable obstacle course isn’t for children, and only those over 18 can buy tickets.

On average it takes between five and 20 minutes to bound through the Monster’s 30 air-filled obstacles, including posts, hoops, tunnels, hills and more. Between the accompanying DJs tunes and coloured strobe lights, your adventures in wobbleland will one part party, one part obstacle course. Successfully make your way through the Monster and your efforts will be rewarded – the light at the end of the inflatable tunnel is food and drink from Melbourne foodies. Grab a craft beer, some street food and unwind knowing you conquered the bouncy beast.

The Monster inflatable obstacle course is open between noon and 10pm over the January long weekend (January 26-28). Tickets go on sale at 11am on Monday December 18.
