Bayside Marketplace review Rate it
The local tourist industry cites Bayside Marketplace as proof that Downtown is on the up. The increased safety and accessibility of the area is clear, but if Bayside is 'up', what was 'down'? It's little more than a shopping mall, and high-priced at that. A Hard Rock Café here, a Gap there, a food court yonder, none of it unique or very appealing. Sightseeing cruises from the marina are pleasant, though.
