Although its beloved neighbour I/O has closed, PS 14 - Public Space at 14th Street - remains command central for young hipsters who love their music as much as their black hair dye, Hello Kitty accessories and black specs. Spiderpussy, the weekly Tuesday party, popularised electroclash before anyone even knew Peaches was more than just a fruit. On any night, whatever is cutting edge with the Facebook generation is likely to hit the turntables here first.
