If Charles Bukowski were alive today, he'd be passed out in this gritty Wynwood hotspot. The stocked bookshelves hint at the clientele; artsy regulars have been known to read (or write) a book or two. Velvet chairs and chandeliers jazz up the indie vibe; upstairs is a dancefloor and a DJ.

I was in Edinburgh in early November and stayed at The Bonham. It's falriy centrally located in a quiet, residential area but within easy walking distance of Edinburgh's downtown and the Castle. We were quite happy with our stay there, although the restaurant/bar in the hotel wasn't great. The lighting in the elevator was also really crappy and one wall of the elevator is a mirror, so if you've just done your makeup it's not so good for your self-esteem. But all in all, a good hotel stay. Be sure and ask somewhat insistently for the best rates they have when making your reservation after I was a bit persistent they gave me a better rate.Enjoy!! It's a fabulous city happy new year!
